FUEL AND HYDROCARBON INDUSTRY
ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT OF THE SITE
CONCEPTUAL MODEL OF THE SITE
SAN VICENTE BAY
The Project involved integrating the environmental characteristics of the San Vicente Bay in relation to its eventual exposure to hydrocarbon constituents by means of sensitive receptors, associated with a particular oil spill. The Project included the characterization of the distribution of potential constituents of interest, the characterization of sensitive receptors, and of the migration and exposure routes and paths to these constituents by the sensitive receptors.
The Project included a characterization of the physical and marine biological environment as well as of the human environment. The Project developed an integrated model of the site, which was then used to develop eventual management and clean-up measures.

EVALUACION AMBIENTAL PRELIMINAR
AEROPUERTOS CALAMA Y VALDIVIA
The Project consisted of the identification of Potential Environmental Conditions at the facilities to be used for the storage of aviation fuel at El Loa (Calama) and Pichoy (Valdivia) Airports.
The Project included a review of the written records related to the management of raw materials and waste, and a field survey of the environmental components associated with the fuel management facilities. The Project helped define how to manage any potential risks to human health and the environment before installing underground fuel storage tanks.
